MenuTab Pro for Facebook App Reviews

I love this and its great to have facebook running up in my menu bar. But there are a few memory leaks and I have restart it once a day to free up memory.

Occasionally, the menu displays errors when loading the content. Refresh page doesn’t always fix the problem. Besides this flaw, it serves its purpose. Convenient App!

I have used this app for a few years, but lately I’ve noticed bugs and slowdowns and there hasnt been and update since August. If it isnt, it still works for Yosemite & shouldnt be avoided yet, but theres an annoying pink button for the attach a file button at the top of my status. Plus it seems to be slowing down as I use it longer. I find myself going to the actual webpage to manage events and photos.

Ive always loved this app. Suddenly, with the most recent update, Every time I’m receiving a notification, I get the spinning color wheel, and the app locks up until it’s finished working. Which takes a couple minutes! I hope this gets fixed, because it’s bad enough to make me find a new app for FB, and I really don’t want to do that.

For minor posting and reading this is fine but it often doesnt play posted videos, especially flash. If or when this supports the full features of Facebook then it will be an ideal app, but not before then. UPDATE: Version 6.6 is a load of failure. It opens but wont load postings, messages, or notifications. USELESS! Only the mobile setting seems to work.

Need to fix it, or lose everybody to the MANY other similar aps out there!

Much too aggressive on a Mac - tries to hold sessions as much as possible so you are unable to do anything else on the Mac. There are much better apps available and I just wish I could find a way to remove it entirely from my Mac. Horrible.

Since I downloaded El Captain, FB has a colorwheel show up and everything freezes. Please fix!!!!!!

Since loading El Capitain, this app has stopped working. It disappeared from the menu bar and will not open at all! Major fail. What are you going to do about it, MenuTab Pro???

I used to love this app, but it got worse and worse this past year, and now it’s officially dead. The last big problem that I remember was that videos on the news feed could no longer be displayed in full screen. In fact, when I clicked the full screen button the video would just close. I could hear sound, but there was no video at all. This problem was never resolved by any updates. But the biggest problem is NOW! Now it won’t even open. I open the app and the icon shows up on my desktop toolbar, but when I click the icon, absolutely nothing happens. I can no longer view my facebook from this app and I’m now looking for a replacement app.

So, this app WAS amazing… Now it doesn’t even open. The problems started with full screen videos not working; Video would disappear, but sound could be heard. Now, this app doesn’t open at ALL… I paid for the full-version and now i’m forced to find a new app… Thanks FIPLAB for stealing my money and leaving me with a broken app - Now i have trust issues...
