This app does not appear to be very stable. Although I have gone into settings and told it to open when I open my computer, I constantly need to launch it. It is just easier to go to the web page. Wish I hadn’t purhased this.

Used to be a nice app until they stopped support on 10.6.8. Now its very buggy, and if you delete you may not get it back.

I’ve used this app for about a year now and love(d) it! It’s a great app, but this newest version has frozen my Mac on 5 or 6 different occasions now. To the point where i have to hard reset my Mac. I’m on the lastest version of MenuTab and Mac OS X.

I agree with the review from jaradcore below. This app has been great and I use it constantly on my iMac (12gb RAM). However, this last update has caused the app to constantly hang. Frustrating. More bug fixes on the way?

Researched a good app so I didn’t have to use the browser for facebook. VERY happy with this app! Well worth the price. It’s nice to be able to get the popups, click them, and not have to stop what I am doing elsewhere. I am using it on a new MacBook Pro with 0 issues and 0 lag.

Version 6.3 freezes my Early 2011 MacBook Pro. I have not had this problem with earlier version. Please update or revert back to previous version.

App has stopped working. Activating it results in the spinning pinwheel ….. PLEASE fix !!

I haven’t had any problems with the app so far but since the latest update the app keeps on freezing. I have deleted and re-installed the app twice now and still it keeps giving me the wheel of death when I mouse-over the icon. Anyone else have this problem?

app no longer works on my AIR but does on my PRO

App does not work. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling. When you launch the app, it crashes immediately and I have to use Activity Monitor to Force Quit.

Rainbow circle of death since last update to Safari on my MBP. Makes me sad.

I really love this app, but can’t put 5 stars on it due to no flash player. So, video has to be played on web browser. I hope we get this on the next update.

The app seems to work well on my iMac running OS 10.9.4 Quite handy as a quick check on my Facebook is all I have time to do these days.

this update that was release today does not load or update MenuTab Pro from 6.3. 6.3 still comes up and it still shows that there is a update to apply.

This is absolutely the best desktop app for facebook that I have found, and I’ve tried A LOT of them! Does everything the site does in my browser, but in an app form. Thank you!

I love this app – I used the free version and then switched over to the paid version (why not? I skipped on a latte) because it’s just that convenient. Hopefully someone in the company reads this review, though, because I think there’s one feature that would be great: a self-control feature! Sometimes I find this app makes it really easy to get distracted. So, to take a page out of the StayFocused Chrome extension (470,000+ users), I think it’d be neat to have a “lock” or “timer” feature. That way you’d either have to pass through some hurdle to access Facebook (reminding you to get back to work!) and/or set a designated amount of time per day for you to browse. This would be a serious competitive advantage over the tab-clones, plus people won’t resort to uninstalling the app to stop procrastinating! Just a suggestion. Again, this is a great app which contrary to other reviewers does in fact work for me (I’m on OS X Mavericks). And support this app! It came before the clones…plus FIPLAB makes other decent apps, too — often for free.
