MenuTab Pro for Facebook App Reviews

I find it very annoying that navigation gestures are not supported. I think it is a nice replacement for having Facebook open in a browser tab.

Stalls sometimes. Crashes ocaisionally. Doesnt support gestures. most of the time when you start typing a message the cursor disappears after the first few characters and you need to click in the text box again which is annoying. Otherwise it gives you a quick picture of whats new on Facebook. But, looks like the developers are developing it still. Version 5.5???

I am dissapointed with this app. If I had any knowledge that I would be PAYING for an app to spam me with advertisements, I would ahve never purchased it. Dissapointed!

I do like this app. It is handy if i dont feel like opening safari. After the update the app closes on its own way more then before. Now when it starts to shut down I have to open it and reopen it 3 times before it stays on

Very handy app BUT crashes every time I try and inport a photo for iPhoto. Bummer.

A few crashes, glitches and bugs but theyre not that frequent for me. This app is good but its not perfect all the time. Not recomended for people who get frustrated and distraught over little things. Get the full version, totally worth it!

I am not a really heavy user of Facebook, but this app does work well for me. I especially like not having to open a browser window to use Facebook.

Application is nice, makes it easy to access Facebook and the chat but theres one big problem. It has a major flaw since someday the RAM usage gets as high as 2gb and it makes my Mac go very hot for no reason. You need to restart the MenuTab application to fix it. Not the end of the world but it needs a fix.

The only problem is not being able to play videos…

Incredibly buggy. Freezes ALL the time when I get a new chat. When I click on the chat notification it freezes for so long that most times its quicker for me to open a new browser window, go to Facebook and log in and start using it from there. The most recent update broke the app ENTIRELY. Now it says the app is damaged and cant be open. This app is a joke, and the developers are a joke.

This is a great program that works very well for me.

UPDATE Like what Ive seen so far. Dont know what the others are talking about, hasnt frozen on me yet. Though I dont use the chat feature. UPDATE SInce v4.3 I can now say Im thankful to the developpers for listening. The app is great and now I since Im no longer asked to review I feel like giving a more favourable review. So thanks and 4 stars to a great program. ORIGINAL Ive had MenuTab Pro for a while now, its an ok program, it performs as advertised. However there is a VERY annoying attribute, every time I update it asks for a rating. Now I dont mind being asked once or twice, but after every update!? Come on people!!! (Developpers you hearing this?) Its also inconsistent, even if Ive aready rated it Im asked to re-rate. So here it is folks 1 star because I hate being annoyed by that constantly nagging question "Tell us how we are doing".

I purchased the Pro version. Not bad, I wish I had all the features I have on the web but all in all, its pretty slick. I do like the green icon when I have a message, vs the red for run of the mill notifications. I need to remember to turn it on when I reboot, which it okay cuz I know im using some memory when its on.

Way Back— be very afraid and run for cover --- all-the-time holding on to your wallet. Menu Tab Pro for Facebook is totally useless. Crashes more times than Evel Knievel doing a 60 bus leap!!!! I’ve lost a few bucks which I will never ever see again …. hope (the “developer” --- aka cretin — is enjoyng my contribution to his enriched life-style. Apple Apps should be ashamed of themselves for “hosting” this piece of rubbish.

I used to love this app.. It’s extremely handy to have in the corner of my comupter, just a click away. But i’ve been experiencing a bug as of latley. I can’t view videos.. The audio is there but, I can’t see and video.. This is extremely annoying and frustrating.. Please fix this issue ASAP. Other than that the app is unreivled in its user friendliness and accessibility.

i hate the last update. you can’t read video on facebook with this app. i have to use safari then to connect by the website of facebook. when i click on a video, its shown *blocked plug-in*. please make an update. otherwise, don’t buy, you gonna lose your money

MenuTab makes Facebook so much easier to navigate as a blind person, which is really awesome. However, I do feel that you still have to know where to look for things before you can zip through it and just do what you want. It’s one of those appps that you have to practice and keep practicing, or you’ll forget how to do things like change your status. However, I will say on MenuTab’s behalf that facebook os much easier to navigate using Menutab than the normal facebook I would use on my Mac. thank you, MenuTab Pro! Continue making more apps like this, and thanks for making this one free. It makes a blind person’s life easier to know we’re not giving an arm and a leg for everything just to make our lives a bit easier.

love this for my desktop. It gets alerts faster than my facebook app on my phone.

Id like this Facebook app it is very handy when we open the computer.
