Cant get it to launch. Nothing but irritating.
This app has no feature to stop it from asking me to rate it multiple times a day. The apps not bad otherwise but this is very agrrevating and so im deleting this app now.
Very user friendly and convenient!! Easy to see when new things are posted to Facebook with its notification ability
Excellent Apps! Easy to use… 5 Stars!
Its a tab in the menu bar that allow you to get to Facebook. Simple but useful. The application still feel a bit rough on the edge. Navigating from page to page feel a bit choppy. Also, when using the mobile layout, the text box for comments is pretty small. It would be great to be able to resize it so I can write my always too long comments. But still, work pretty well and is worth the price paid.
MenuTab Pro is awesome. It has the ability to take away the Ads with the mobile view, and have chat with the Desktop view. It has sounds and color codes. Best thing about it is that you can hide it whenever you like, and stillbe notified. 5/5 stars.
great app does everything as expected! cool mobile look just like ther iphone version!
Im running an iMac 3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7 and have been working with MenuTab Pro for a week or so. I find this app works flawlessly for me and is very useful as I have several fan pages that I like to monitor throughout the day. I like how I can so easily do anything I need to do in FB on the fly and when Im done it just gets out of the way. But not so far out of the way that I have to do more than one click and Im right back in where I want to be in a second. My adjectives for this app would be fast, clean, efficient and practical. Thanks guys, good work.
Tends to be unresponsive and prone to the occasional freeze/crash. Also, its not much better than the free version of the app. Frankly, Id expected more.
I dont have to worry about checking Remember on the login page of FB, about being tracked down by FB while browsing the net and entering again my login details when I clear the cache/history of my browser. The hability to switch between desktop layout and mobile layout is awesome.
Im impressed with the way that this app is very accessible with Voiceover. Im visually impaired so that helps a lot. My only complaint is, and thats why Im not giving this a full 5 out of 5, is that Growl doesnt read other peoples news feeds to me as soon as they post them when Im not in the App, and thats my primary reason for buying it. Theres a program on the PC that I had called Talking Miranda, and it did just that. I was hoping to find an app on the Mac that had that feature. But great app nevertheless.
enough said.
This idea of this app is wonderful but the execution is awful. I can open Safari, go to my bookmarks and get to my facebook page faster than this clunker which chugs away starting at login and takes a very long time relative to every other cloud interface I use... Plus theres still a couple of wonky interface issues (though credit due, a lot of those issues have been addressed in updates). Honestly I want to love this app and hope my growing hatred of Facebook isnt influencing my review, and Im sure that its hard for the developer to keep up with Facebooks inability to stop playing with itself.
If you use Mountain Lion, Do Not waste your money and buy this app. Always freezes all the time!! What a waste of money!
The app is good, but opens on bottom of screen and you cannot move/drag it or make it full screen, because the stupid settings are OFF the screen. Would be good to fix considering how much was paid for it. Same applies for Google + one.
Works well with Mountain Lion. Also opens in upper right of screen on my iMac 27. Cant complain about anything.
The previous versions worked well on lion, but now, having upgraded to Mountain Lion and the RMBP, the icon and UI is blurry and extremely laggy and buggy. Perhaps an update is in order?
The new version has some popup notification that I cannot remove from anyway, please fix this, this is really annoying. Also, there is a bug that has been there for long, sometime, when I receive notification from a comment on a wall or something, when I click on it, it often just put me on my profile page, not the status/comment that has notified me. This is something that would be nice to be fixed. thank you
I dont have the popup notification issue that the other user has. Im running the most up-to-date version of Mountain Lion. This is a good little app for keeping tabs on Facebook without needing to load your web browser. You can adjust your notification settings just the way you like them. This also gives you the option of popping up the mobile app version of the site or the full site when you click the tab. Its really nice. Im not sure what additional features you get with the pro version, but I can tell you that I certainly dont regret the cup of coffee that I passed up in order to make this purchase. The only thing that concerns me is whether or not this will become obsolete when Facebook becomes more integrated into Mountain Lion in the Fall. Until then, I dig this app and would recommend it to friends.
